MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Shenandoah University had four football players named D3football.com All-South Region in selections announced Monday afternoon by the website.
Three of the four honorees came on the offensive side of the ball. Seniors Rico Wallace and James English were named to the second team at wide receiver and guard, respectively, while junior Jacob Brent picked up a third team honor at tackle.
Rogers had 45 solo, 42 assisted and 14.0 TFL on his way to earning All-USA South honors for the second straight year.
English and Brent formed a solid left side of the line as Shenandoah averaged 376.3 yards and 32.6 points per game on its way to a 6-4 campaign this fall.
Both men were also named first team All-USA South.
Wallace, who is set to play in the D3Senior Classic next week, rewrote the SU record book this season on his way to a 67-reception, 1241-yard year that included 14 touchdowns.
All three marks are new school season records and Wallace was named to both the D3football.com Team of the Week and as the USA South Conference Player of the Week on two occasions this fall.
The four honorees are the most in school history.
Shenandoah opens up its 2012 season on September 1 at Stevenson.
