As a sophomore: started in all ten games.. had 56 tackles...one interception returned for eight yards...recovered one fumble... As a freshman: played in ten games... recorded 31 tackles... made the most of his first start, in week 10 against Maryville, with a co-game-high 12 tackles... had two for loss and one sack... was later named USA South Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts... earned honorable mention All-USA South honors...
