Football Schedule Card Released

WINCHESTER, Va. - The Shenandoah University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced Tuesday that 2010 football schedule cards are available.

The Hornets, who open their 10th anniversary season on September 4 against Catholic, will once again play five home games.

In addition to the Cardinals, SU will host USA South Conference opponents Christopher Newport, Methodist, Averett and N.C. Wesleyan on the Sprint Field at Shentel Stadium turf.

The CNU contest, on October 2, is part of Hall of Fame Weekend while Methodist (October 16) is highlight of Homecoming 2010.

The schedule cards, which are free to the public, are available in the lobbies of both Shingleton Gymnasium and Aikens Athletic Center. Participants in the 2010 SUAA Golf Tournament, to be held next week at Rock Harbor Golf Club, will receive the cards in their "goodie bags" as well.
