Baseball Holds in Ranking Polls

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn./ALLENTOWN, Pa. - The Shenandoah University baseball team has maintained its ranking in the a pair of ranking polls released Tuesday morning.

Shenandoah, 29-11 on the season, remains as the nation's No. 20 team in the week 12 NCBWA/ poll and No. 19 in the ABCA poll.

In the poll, SU has 146 points to find itself just behind future ODAC rival Lynchburg.

LC is one of four ranked teams that the Hornets could face at the upcoming Newport News Regional.

Shenandoah opens the regional tomorrow at 4:30 against No. 18 Rowan. The regional also includes No. 5 Salisbury and No. 6 Christopher Newport.

Salisbury ranked fourth, CNU eighth, Lynchburg 16th and Rowan 24th in the ABCA poll.

Marietta (Ohio) is the No. 1 team in both polls.
