FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Shenandoah University had two baseball student-athletes earn USA South weekly honors in selections announced Monday afternoon by the league office.
Pendergraft helped the Hornets to a 4-1 week with 15 hits in 23 at-bats (.652 average) over the five games.
In the 8-2 win over King's, Pendergraft was 2 for 5 with two runs scored and one double before following that up with a 4 for 5, 3 RBI day against Mt. Aloysius.
In the 14-4 win over future ODAC rival EMU, Pendergraft had three hits in five at-bats, drove in two and had a pair of doubles.
Finally, he was a combined 6 for 8 with four runs scored, two RBI, one double and two stolen bases in the weekend series with USA South foe Averett.
Riegler, from Sicklerville, New Jersey, earned the win in that Tuesday 13-4 victory over Mt. Aloysius. He tossed six innings, allowing one unearned run on five hits and two walks with five strikeouts to record the victory in his first collegiate start.
The Hornets are back in action on Wednesday at Bridgewater.
