Baseball Improves Three Spots

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Shenandoah University improved three spots in the week 11 D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 baseball poll released Tuesday morning by the website.

Shenandoah, 34-8 and USA South Conference champions, is the No. 10 team in the final poll of the regular season.

The Hornets have 348 points in this week's poll to come in just behind Trinity (Texas) and one point in front of Ponoma-Pitzer (Calif.).

Johns Hopkins (Md.) is the No. 1 team again this week. The Blue Jays received 16 of a possible 25 first-place votes to comfortably outdistance No. 2 UW-Whitewater.

The NCAA will announce the 2010 playoff field Monday, May 17 with the regionals beginning on May 19.
