Meghan (Starliper) Gore is the latest addition to the SU athletic training staff, having been hired in June 2010.

Gore is a Winchester native and a 2009 James Madison University graduate. During her time with the Dukes, the 2005 graduate of John Handley High School worked with the field hockey, men’s basketball, softball and women’s swimming and diving teams as well as the Harrisonburg High School athletic programs.

In her senior year at JMU, Gore was the recipient of the Sports Medicine Directors Award.

After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training degree in May 2009, Gore took just one year to complete a Master's in Athletic Training at the University of Virginia. She completed her field work at UVa working with St. Anne's-Belfield, a boarding school in Charlottesville.

At Shenandoah, Gore works with the women's soccer, basketball and softball programs as well as assisting head athletics trainer Mike Kotelnicki with the men's and women's track & field teams.
