FOREST, Va. - The Shenandoah University field hockey and women's soccer teams have earned home games in their respective ODAC Tournaments in tournament brackets announced Saturday night by the league office.
Both squads will be the No. 4 seed in their respective tournaments. Field hockey, which earned the No. 4 seed thanks to a 5-2 win over Virginia Wesleyan Saturday, hosts VWC on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the tournament quarterfinals.
The winner advances to Friday's semi-final against top-seeded Lynchburg.
Women's soccer gets its tournament started on Monday with a pair of first round games in the 10-team tournament.
Shenandoah tied for fourth in the regular season with Roanoke and earns the No. 4 seed based on the league's five-point tiebreaker. SU and the Maroons did not meet during the regular season due to the league's unbalanced schedule, and so will face off for the first time on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The winner of that game advances to Saturday's semi-final versus top-seeded Washington and Lee.
Live stats and video are planned for both quarterfinal round contests.
