Alumni Game Details: Saturday April 18th
Check In:
Men and Women: 11am at the old soccer field (next to parking garage on your campus map)
Games:
Women: Noon
Men: 1:15 p.m. (warm up beginning at 12:30)
Location:
We are moving the alumni game back to the old soccer field behind Shingleton Gym. For you old guys who played in the 1990's it's what we used to call the "Lower Field." Park in the parking garage next to the Brandt Student Center.
Format:
Women are competing in one 7-a-side match, while we are running a 7-a-side tournament for the men. We anticipate running two Alumni teams and two current SU squads.
What to bring:
Bring a pair of white shorts, cleats and shinguards. Alumni will be wearing red, so f you have red socks, please bring them along. We will have a few pairs available.
Bookstore:
The bookstore will be open at 11am in the Brandt Student Center on Saturday April 18. A number of alumni asked if we could have it open during the weekend after last year. Stop by and check out the SU apparel.
Cookout:
A cookout for the alumni, family, students and friends of the program is slated to start at 1 p.m. in the McKown Outdoor Terrace next to the old soccer field and the Brandt Student Center - as we begin to play and the women's game ends. Hot dogs, chips, Coca-Cola and Powerade will all be available complements of the Alumni Office. We really would love to see a large crowd!
