SUAA Membership Drive Opens

WINCHESTER, Va. - Shenandoah University Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Doug Zipp announced Monday that the 2012-13 Athletic Association (SUAA) Membership Drive has opened.

Donations to the SUAA assist the more than 400 student-athletes in 20 intercollegiate programs at Shenandoah.

"I have been very impressed with the level of community support here at SU," said Zipp, who was named as the AD in June.

"The SUAA support will be used to enhance the student-athlete experience. Our student-athletes have been successful on and off the playing fields and this support is invaluable to our continued success."

Past SUAA members will be receiving their 2012-13 SUAA Membership donation cards in the mail in the next 7-10 days. All prospective SUAA members, regardless of past membership status, can join via the Online Giving Site.
