ROCKVILLE, Md. - The Shenandoah University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced Monday that its new mobile app is now available for download.
Created by the department's web provider, PrestoSports, this app is designed to be a 'second screen' for fans at SU home events.
The app, called Front Row, is currently available for iOS devices through Apple's App Store and Android devices through Google Play. The app features all aspects of the full version of www.suhornets.com including live stats, recaps and photo galleries.
The app has full integration with the department's Twitter feed, www.twitter.com/SUHornets, and has full access to the links of video and/or audio streams of home events.
Shenandoah University students, faculty and staff will also be able to download the app through the university's own app 'store'.
The department's current mobile version of www.suhornets.com, called MobileNow, will exist in parallel with the Front Row app. MobileNow has rosters, schedules and stats for all 20 of the Hornets intercollegiate athletic programs.
